The family of Bafana Bafana Captain and Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper, Ronwen Williams, has described him as a role model for young soccer players in South Africa.
Williams has just been nominated for the Yashin Trophy, which is awarded annually to the top goalkeeper at the Ballon d'Or awards.
He is the first goalkeeper in the country, and the first plying his trade on the continent, to be nominated for the award.
