A family of a fourteen-year-old girl who was raped, allegedly by a forty-year-old man in Jan Kempdorp in the Northern Cape, has been left devastated by the incident.
The family alleges that the man raped the young girl at his home and gave her 48 rand for her silence.
He currently remains in custody after he was arrested last week.
