Rap Life is home to hip-hop’s heavy hitters and its vanguard—the songs that speak to the moment and define the culture today. At the top of the playlist this week is Meek Mill’s “Giving Chanel,” a high-energy collaboration with Future from the Philly MC’s recently released HEATHENISM EP. HEATHENISM is just five tracks long, but the word on the street is that there’s another edition on the way. Meek’s only mistake here might have been releasing “Giving Chanel” this early, because if we continue playing it at the rate we have been lately, we might just muster up the courage to break into his studio and free the rest of the project!
