As we draw near to the first anniversary of the release of his first-of-its-kind art and music fusion experience and debut album #TheEvilGenius, Grammy Award and Latin Grammy Award-winning global music superstar MR EAZI is excited to reveal the captivating new music video for ‘PANADOL’ – one of the album’s fan-favourite tracks. Shot in London, and directed by Mollana Burke for JM Films.
The video for ‘Panadol’ brings the track’s themes of pleasure, ease, and embracing our present joys further to life with a visually stunning and playful narrative, offering a vibrant spectacle featuring dynamic scenes and rich colours that capture the song’s carefree energy.
The track itself was recorded in the vibrant city of Ouidah in Benin, and produced by Type A who also produced ‘Good Lovin’ and ‘Zuzulakate’ from The Evil Genius album. Driven by lively percussion drums, resonant bass guitar, and lush synths, and held together by Mr Eazi’s velvety smooth vocal performance, groovy and infectious melodies, and effortlessly laid-back delivery, ‘Panadol’ captures the essence of finding relief in love and music, much like the soothing effects of the pain reliever Panadol. The song is all about feeling good and enjoying life, with Mr Eazi cheekily playing with the themes of sexual performance and health throughout the song.
